On wednesday we are off to Spain, to start hopefully what will become a niche part of our "onboard video" business.
Recently our fledgling company was awarded the contract to provide in car video systems and data loggers to a major provider in the UK and the Americas of automotive launches.
To this end, we will be in Madrid shortly providing 18 systems for the press and public launch of the new Ford Focus Global. Our equipment is on its way there right now and we will rendezvous with it on Thursday.
We were able to provide bespoke screen scenes that incorporate a visual representation of the new Ford Focus dash, all the USB devices that will be used which carry the logo for the launch and ultimately the equipment and our expertise in installing and alining the cameras and peripheral equipment.
Our greatest hope is that this "first" large scale corporate engagement will be the first of many such automotive industry launches.
We'll keep you all informed of our progress in this field.

This niche market must be fun, since most of the launches are in the sunnier parts of Europe
Just another idea :
Have you thought of "Top Gear" as a customer ? Would be great to see some datalogging of the supercars going round their "track" and compare G-forces and cornerspeeds

as for Top Gear, apart for Jezza Clarkson being a KNOB, we know from experience that today TV companies prefer HD video, and our systems are SD.
although, watch this space.
