it was not cold in the zed3 only outside.... still get funny looks though

No roof down today but other excitement

I was in Glasgow today and was about to head home to get
two new back tyres as they are getting close to the wear
bars, I moved off and there was a clunk followed shortly
thereafter with a phffutt... Very flat tyre . I limped
into another parking space and got the wheel off and
looked for the hole .. nothing on the tread and then
looked on the inside , there was a slice into the tyre
all round it. How the h... did that happen then I noticed
the the broken spring with sharp edge showing which had
sliced open the tyre... no it was not one of the ones i
was going to replace. I put the space saver on but was
not happy about driving so on the AA.. 4 hours they said
They got there in 2.5. So it was a behildered Davy at BM
Motors who answered the door as the AA man was taking the
zed off the flatbed at about 7pm tonight. Davey being the
hero he is say it should be ready in a couple of days..
so only 4 tyres after that . Yes 4 there is no way I am
putting three on . I was hoping to get a few more miles
out the front pair but it was not to be....

Poor sort of day car wise

I personally think it is warmer inside the z3 than the z4 as i think the blowers are more effective when the roof is down!!

Or at least thats my excuse!! :D

Sandy - Sorry to hear of your plight.

Are you just going to replace the springs with similar or are you going to do some modding and lower the car?
