Just so those that interested can be kept up to date with whats been happening since the start of our new business venture.
We are now 3 events in to the new venture. It was a rocky start with a half attended track-day at Bedford Autodrome. it was pouring with rain (all day) and never once looked like cheering up. our pitch was too out of the way to have attracted anyone who might have been the slightest bit interested. We did have one hire on the day, but because of technical issues with the equipment decided to refund all of their money for the hire.
the Next event was Silverstone and that was quite a different affair. One pre booked hire (off the internet) and 4 more on the day. one hirer had flown in for the track day from India that day, his son had driven their Ferrari California from europe for him and i supplied the Video Vbox system. I have to say i was worried about fitting kit to a car that was this expensive. I didn't fancy pulling off some tank tape and pulling off the pain work LOL.
Over the last few weeks I have been confirmed to supply equipment at Porsche Club GB, Ferrari Owners Club GB track days, Goldtrack and RMA track days, and just on Tuesday we were confirmed to supply the Video Vbox systems to the Aston Martin Owners club racing series.
It was a bit of a blow the other day to find out that our event in Belgium was cancelled because the Spa Francorchamps race circuit had been damaged by a service tunnel collapse. none the less Carrie and I still went to Belgium and visited the city of Bruges and met up with Koen for a day were we visited the battle fields of WW1 in Flanders.
We're not as busy as i would have liked, but the interest being show in this service is very high indeed and people keep coming up with different idea where an application could exist.
I still have to remind my self that we have only just completed our 3rd event and it still feels like winter.
I'll keep you all informed as to how it goes
