The Volvo is going - this will leave me with the 1989 525 - a soon to be purchased van - and the M3 race-car.
The only thing that is missing from that is something to have fun in.
Last weekend I test drove a 135 (in full Performance garb) and loved it to bits - but the dealer is being a bit stingy on trade in - and not sure I want to pay so much for a small car.
There was also a high mileage M6 - which has now been sold. I then thought about an M5 - but they are a bit lardy. An M3 will hit budget in a few months - but only a manual.
And then I come back to the idea of a hot-hatch - New Megane R, Golf R, Focus RS - all of which will give thrills - but don't run their power to the right place. There are a few 911s in budget.
The criteria is basically something that I can enjoy the locals roads in - something that can be driven comfortably - and something with enough space for when we take the cat with us going to our place in the south
And the last is perhaps the most important!!!!
