{"id":216,"date":"2011-08-06T21:16:00","date_gmt":"2011-08-06T21:16:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/neroz.co.uk\/wordpress\/?p=216"},"modified":"2012-06-14T08:02:10","modified_gmt":"2012-06-14T08:02:10","slug":"216","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/neroz.co.uk\/wordpress\/216\/","title":{"rendered":"Yong Nuo Wireless Flash Trigger"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">I quite fancied having a go at some strobist photography and to this end, I purchased a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/gp\/product\/B002WQQSZ6\/ref=oss_product\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Yong Nuo Wireless Flash Trigger Receiver<\/a>\u00a0&#8211; at \u00a322 it isn&#8217;t too expensive as a starter kit.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Last night, I had my first go &#8211; I parked the <a href=\"https:\/\/neroz.co.uk\/wordpress\/comparing-the-in-built-vs-nextgen-gallery\/\">car<\/a> up in front of the Town Hall at <a href=\"https:\/\/neroz.co.uk\/wordpress\/competition-results\/\">Linlithgow<\/a> Cross.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Although in the center of town, it was reasonably quiet, with just the occasional car\u00a0swinging\u00a0round the cross to head back down the street.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Set up &#8230;<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nikon D70s\/Nikon SB600 Flash mounted on a tripod and fired with a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/gp\/product\/B002QAOYL8\/ref=oss_product\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Yong Nuo Wireless Remote<\/a><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">(To my left) Miranda 700CD Flash, mounted on the Flash Trigger Receiver (light triggered) and mounted on a tripod<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">(Inside the car)\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/Rolson-Tools-60702-Magnetic-Lamp\/dp\/B001B4PINI\/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1312664296&amp;sr=8-2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rolson Tools 60702 24 LED Magnetic Lamp<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">A number of shots were taken, this being one of the better ones<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-8ogyn5-B57k\/Tj2mxdNGxcI\/AAAAAAAAAAs\/_zBIFDujF_c\/s1600\/DSC_0790dxo.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-8ogyn5-B57k\/Tj2mxdNGxcI\/AAAAAAAAAAs\/_zBIFDujF_c\/s320\/DSC_0790dxo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" height=\"212\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Due to the highly reflective paintwork and being square on to the car, there are numerous flash hotspots.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">To overcome this, I set the SB600 to point upwards and using a silver reflector, bounced it&#8217;s light onto the car \u00a0&#8211; this improved the hotspots, although not completely.<br \/>\n[Exposure\u00a0increased to bring up Town Hall lights &#8211; they are very yellow in real life\u00a0]<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-CuDLe0zlBac\/Tj2m15OS6II\/AAAAAAAAAAw\/lTLr6reXBjw\/s1600\/DSC_0824dxo.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-CuDLe0zlBac\/Tj2m15OS6II\/AAAAAAAAAAw\/lTLr6reXBjw\/s320\/DSC_0824dxo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" height=\"212\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: justify;\">So what next &#8211; I need to get the SB600 off the camera, so I&#8217;ve ordered another Flash Receiver, so until then, I&#8217;ll have to do a bit more reading<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I quite fancied having a go at some strobist photography and to this end, I purchased a\u00a0Yong Nuo Wireless Flash Trigger Receiver\u00a0&#8211; at \u00a322 it isn&#8217;t too expensive as a starter kit.
