BMWCC National – Gaydon 13th\/14th August 2011<\/p>\n

This year was my 9th year of the BMWCC<\/a> National Show at The Heritage Motor Museum, Gaydon<\/a><\/p>\n

I went down on the Saturday, to grab some photos of the E30 M3 photo-shoot. 68 cars were positioned to form the BMW M badge.
\nUnfortunately, I couldn’t get a high enough vantage point to do the layout justice (see below) – however, I’ve seen a preview of the official photos and it looks amazing<\/p>\n

Sunday was an early start for us, 7:00 am at Gaydon, as once again we were marshalling – it makes for a long tiring day
\nA really good day, with loads of cars to see e.g. a new 1M in Valencia Orange, original M1 (x2), BMW Race Cars, M3s, old and new, a plenty
\nAlso loads of trade stands – including Dodo Juice<\/a> who relieved me of some of my money<\/p>\n

One thing I did try was using off-camera flash with the Yong Nuo\/Nikon SB600 to try and give some of my photos the Car<\/a> Magazine look. I’m quite pleased with some of photos, but will\u00a0definitely\u00a0need to practice to get rid of flash burn\/reflection – not easy when you’re photographing cars, so highly polished, they’re effectively mirrors.<\/p>\n
