Stimulation

Post by Phil »

The problem is how to revive this forum. Saw Neil at Gaydon and he is concerned that no one is posting here.
How do we solve this problem?

I always tend to find that the events raised conversation and exchange..
This forum seems lacking in both of these, many of the owners that came here have now sold the cars on for other vehicles- thus the passion is somewhat gone...
Some have tried to organise events but its clearly seen that other fora seem to get the events attended easier, obviously well done to all those that have done so, Carrie especially.

IMHO

Thanks for your honesty garyw. Although lacking in time, as I have now come out of retirement, I am trying to get a zedmas event organised (will post by end of next week but all should be prepared, I am not finding the £25 double room rate of last year and prices have risen by approx £5 per head). I am sure that there are people on here willing to organise events if they know that the interest will be there, gone are the days of posting an event and being assured of it filling up. When I post zmas, I'm afraid it will be first come, first served as I will have to post on other forums to make sure it can go ahead. If anyone has a burning desire for next year to have a zed event in a particular month but doesn't have the time to commit or feels they don't know where to start, please post as I'm sure others will help. I don't believe it matters what car we drive, we have all made good friendships through the start of this forum and will make allowances for those that can't keep up in their Porches and Mercs :compress (you know I am only joking, you will have to wait for me in the IQ !!)

Why don't you all trundle down to the Goodwood Breakfast for German cars on November 7th?

I posted this in the site suggestions/feedback section:

http://zed-cars.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=316

if the forum was open/view only or at least some of it was then it might attract more members/new members??.. :?
