May only have lost part of it's tail?
Somehow, the furry fella - whose type often end up as flattened roadkill on British highways - managed to time his death run perfectly, reaching the zone between the vehicle's four wheels as it sped by overhead.
Unperturbed by the near-miss, the squirrel - who observers claim may have lost part of its tail as a result of the mad stunt - ran to the safety of the grass bordering the track.

Just shown this to Dario. He says "isn't it typical that when that bloke had the squirrel directly in his sights he couldn't do what mere mortals in z4s have done in the past" :compress
