Alpina

Post by Phil »

Having recently bought Marise an Alpina D3 biturbo I have become obsessed with the Alpina marque in general. I wonder if anyone has an Alpina Z4. I remember Simon from the BMWCC bringing his along to drive and dines and there was one around Worcester way that came on some events but thats years ago now.
So anyone still got one?

Hi Phil

I thought everyone had left as there is not much going on in the land of zedcars.

I think as you have mentioned the new car it is only fair you show us some pictures.

Congrats on the new car - there was a dark blue one locally to me which always caught my attention.

Apart from the BMWCC National at Gaydon, the last time I saw an Alpina Z4 at a meet was a guy from IoM who was visiting relatives in Scotland and came along to a meet

In my archives, I will have photos of PeteH and Simma's Alpinas

Alpina's are certainly rare. I noticed this red Z4 at Goodwood -

I wonder if it still has that number plate?

Lovely car the Roadster S. I'll dig out some pics of my old one and post them up shortly. The red one above is still on the same number plate - I've just checked it. For those of you with iPhones check out the "My Car Check" app :thumbr

I had one after the 3.0 Z4 and before the M-Roadster, rare car great to drive but truly shokcing handling on the 19" rims, tramlining a real issue
