Just taking it easy this week as I had a burst appendix last week and had a "traditional" operation. That means take a knife and make a cut from one end of your stomach to the other.

Does it hurt or what ...

Getting better all the time, I think. Not allowed near any car by Mrs PVR and am not allowed to lift anything for about 6 weeks I think.

Takes me 3 minutes to walk to the office now instead of 20 seconds :)

Hi Paul, you have my deepest sympathy! Been there, done that. Very, very painful I agree. It IS surviveable, I think the worst part for me was trying to keep friends from making me laugh! They thought they were raising my spirits, they didn't realise how much it hurts (or maybe they DID!) Anyway Paul take it easy.
