Stitching Photos

Sometimes photographing a line-up of cars cannot be captured in a single shot and you need to stitch a number of photos together to capture everything – 2 Stitchers I’ve used are

Microsoft Image Composite Editor      and         Autostitch

Both programmes seemed to have handled the stitching of the 9 images rather well. The ICE version is better quality because it was done straight from the full size NEF files (the full size image is 15000 px wide). The Autostitch was done from smaller jpegs, just to show it works.

Of the two programmes, I would go for ICE, mainly because it can use the NEF files.
